A CMOS melody generator IC is used to
synthesize 12 popular melodies. The IC
can be programmed to operate in various modes .
For this kit, two buttons are provided. The "repeat"
button starts the same melody that was last played whereas the "select"
button causes the circuit to play a different tune every time.

control trimmer pot.
